The joy of being a cartoonist is combining my two favorite activities: writing & drawing. Nothing captures the immediacy of a visual narrative better then putting it directly on the page: first in the script phase, and then through pencil & ink as it get translated into images.
I’ve explored this incredibly expressive medium through comic books, such as my ongoing series Beat City, children’s books like the Uth series, and in numerous storyboard projects for short films & commercials.

Beat City
Beat City has been a labor of love for a long time. A story I’ve been trying to bring to life for a long time, I finally found the courage to put my heart and soul into it and create it as a cartoon reality.
Following the exploits of Elsie, a young girl struggling to become a graffiti artist and considering her place in the big city, she is swept up in a plot to destroy the ground she lives on. But she won’t rest until the evil corporation Boggle is put to rest. With the help of a magical substance that respomnds to her thoughts, The Goo, Elsie just might find the courage to fight back!
