The joy of being a cartoonist is combining my two favorite activities: writing & drawing. Nothing captures the immediacy of a visual narrative better then putting it directly on the page: first in the script phase, and then through pencil & ink as it get translated into images. I’ve explored this incredibly expressive medium through comic books, such as my ongoing series Beat City, children’s books like the Uth series, and in numerous storyboard projects for short films & commercials.

Beat City
Beat City has been a labor of love for a long time. A story I’ve been trying to bring to life for a long time, I finally found the courage to put my heart and soul into it and create it as a cartoon reality.
Following the exploits of Elsie, a young girl struggling to become a graffiti artist and considering her place in the big city, she is swept up in a plot to destroy the ground she lives on. But she won’t rest until the evil corporation Boggle is put to rest. With the help of a magical substance that respomnds to her thoughts, The Goo, Elsie just might find the courage to fight back!
The UTH SERIES
Uth is a little planet with big emotions. This children’s book series follows Uth as he learns about himself and how to regulate his emotions. The universe is a big, overwhelming place, but Uth has friends to hel him navigate the tough spots.
Redbarn Storyboards
A sampling of my storyboarding work for commercials, these sequences helped create visual language of pet parents loving their dogs. Redbarn Pet Products was a great client to work for and I’m proud of the work I did for them.
Comics & Zines
Comics, graphic novels, and children’s books hold a special place in my heart as they seamlessly blend illustrations with storytelling, creating a dynamic visual narrative that resonates on multiple levels. Each panel and page turn invites readers into a world where imagination knows no bounds, allowing personal stories to unfold in vibrant and engaging ways. This medium captures the essence of life’s adventures and lessons, reminding us that every story, no matter how small, is worthy of exploration and celebration.
Storyboards
Storyboarding is the heartbeat of any film and video project, acting as the visual blueprint that transforms ideas into cinematic reality. This meticulous process allows me to weave together scenes, character arcs, and emotions, creating a cohesive narrative that resonates with viewers. Through storyboarding, I can explore the rhythm of storytelling, experiment with visuals, and set the tone for projects that spark imagination, ensuring that every frame captures the essence of the story I wish to tell.
